Spacious design, comfort and convenience

The interior of the 2025 Subaru Ascent has been designed to provide spacious comfort and convenience. Besides having room for up to 8 passengers, each passenger is treated to a wide range of desirable features, from the airy cabin to the ergonomic seats to the smartly designed storage compartments. The picture comes into sharper focus with high-grade interior materials and a range of next-generation infotainment systems. The new Sport model showcases bronze stitching and black accent trim on various interior parts, creating an uncommonly bold, sporty and adventurous feeling.

11.6-inch Infotainment System

Available on the Convenience, Touring and Onyx trim levels, this dynamic AM/FM/MP3/WMA infotainment system focuses attention on an 11.6-inch, high-resolution, multi-gesture capacitive tablet-style touchscreen. The system features Bluetooth® mobile phone connectivity and streaming audio, a USB-A and USB-C control port, auxiliary audio input, steering wheel integrated controls and six speakers. The system has wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ functionality and is also SiriusXM® capable†. In addition, SUBARU STARLINK® Connected Services†—a suite of safety, security and convenience services—are standard on this system through a free three-year subscription.

11.6-inch Infotainment System with Navigation

This premium AM/FM/MP3/WMA infotainment system features an 11.6-inch, high-resolution multi-gesture capacitive tablet-style touchscreen display with “what3words” GPS navigation. The system incorporates Bluetooth® mobile phone connectivity and streaming audio, a USB-A and USB-C control port, auxiliary audio input, steering wheel integrated controls and is also SiriusXM® capable†. The system also has wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ functionality. The Cabin Connect system allows clear communication from the first row to third row through the speaker system. The Limited, Sport and Premier trim models are exclusively equipped with 14 Harman Kardon® speakers, subwoofer and amplifier. The SUBARU STARLINK® Connected Services† offering is included with this system on a free three-year subscription.

SUBARU STARLINK® Connected Services† is an in-vehicle technology system that connects your Subaru Ascent to the world around you, bringing added safety, security, comfort and convenience to every drive. The unique suite of services, which includes Remote Tailgate Unlock, Remote Climate Control, Advanced Automatic Collision Notification, Enhanced Roadside Assistance, and Customizable Vehicle Alerts, is available with a free three-year trial subscription on all model trim levels.

Three-Zone Climate Control

This intuitive three-zone climate control system includes separate controls for front-seat occupants, and for passengers in the second and third rows, ensuring everyone’s at the perfect temperature. Standard on all trim levels are the rear vents for both the second and third rows along with rear HVAC controls for even greater comfort and convenience.

Heated Seats and Other Comforts

The Subaru Ascent brings the heat in more ways than one. All trim levels come standard with three-stage heated front seats while the Premier trim model enjoys the extra benefit of ventilated front seats for those hot summer days. On Limited, Sport and Premier trim models, the second row gets two-stage heated captain’s chairs or outboard bench seats, depending on the seating configuration. A leather-wrapped heated steering wheel is standard for all model trim levels.

Rich and Spacious Cabin

The airy passenger cabin features excellent visibility, incredible quietness, superior spaciousness, and room for either 7 or 8 passengers, depending on trim level and personal choice. LED reading lights come standard to all three rows for better cabin visibility. The seats are covered in cloth, leather or, on the Premier trim level, rich black or brown genuine Nappa leather. The Onyx and new Sport trim get outfitted with seats covered in an all-weather material, grey for Onyx and black for Sport trim. The Limited and Premier trim levels feature double-stitching on the dashboard while Premier gets exclusive woodgrain trim accents. All versions showcase plenty of soft-touch surfaces and the expansive comfort that only comes from superior ergonomics.

Ultra-Versatile Cargo Area

For the 8-seat version of the Ascent, both the second and third rows feature 60/40-split flat-folding seats to accommodate items of all sizes and descriptions. On the 7-seat version, the second-row captain’s chairs fold flat as well. For easier loading and unloading, the cargo opening is square-shaped, and the cargo area itself is both wide and long enough to handle almost any task you can think of. For even greater flexibility, all trim levels feature standard roof rails, cargo hooks and tie-downs, while a protective cargo tray and tonneau cargo cover are available on Touring trim level or higher.
