SUBARU CANADA SEES RECORD JANUARY FOR MULTIPLE MODELS

  • Subaru retails 3,058 units in January

  • Best January ever for Ascent and Outback


(MISSISSAUGA, ONT.)—Subaru Canada, Inc, (SCI) has started the year off strong to see multiple models record their best-ever January. The Subaru Outback retailed 830 units to beat its previous best of 754 in January 2022. This marked a 76-unit increase or 10.1 per cent. The Subaru Ascent performed similarly, beating its previous best January also recorded in 2022. The Ascent saw 267 units sold to mark an 8.1 per cent increase.


2023 Subaru Outback

The Subaru Outback received a refresh for the 2023 model year, consisting of new looks, safety devices and technology. The 2023 Outback also earned an Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) TOP SAFETY PICK+. This win marked its 14th consecutive year of being an IIHS TSP or higher.


The 2023 Subaru Ascent was also the recipient of a refresh, with a host of new exterior, interior, safety, and technology updates to make the biggest Subaru ever even better. The Ascent provides a place to grow within the Subaru lineup offering three rows of useable space and seven or eight-passenger seating configurations.
