Electric architecture, uncompromised safety

Safety is a hallmark at Subaru—and the all-new Uncharted brings that commitment into the all-electric era. The e-Subaru Global Platform is engineered for rigidity and stability, helping protect occupants while supporting confident handling. Available Symmetrical Full-Time AWD and available Dual-Function X-MODE® add traction when conditions turn unpredictable, while the latest EyeSight® Driver Assist Technologies help support awareness in everyday traffic. With standard Safe Exit Assist and available 360° surround-view monitoring, the Uncharted is designed to help you feel more confident, both on the move and at a stop.

Engineered to anticipate, ready to respond

The all-new Uncharted integrates advanced active safety systems engineered to anticipate, support and respond in real time. Vehicle Stability Control and Traction Control work continuously to preserve balance on slick, uneven or changing surfaces. EyeSight®◊ Driver Assist Technology adds an additional layer of awareness, monitoring traffic, supporting braking and providing gentle steering assistance when conditions demand it. Together, these systems create a composed, confidence-building driving experience, one that’s designed to reduce stress, sharpen focus and support the driver without ever replacing attentiveness.

EyeSight Disclaimer

EyeSight® Driver Assistance Technology may not operate optimally under all driving conditions. The driver is always responsible for safe and attentive driving. System effectiveness depends on many factors such as vehicle maintenance, and weather and road conditions. See Owner's Manual for complete details on system operation and limitations. Please remember to turn off EyeSight when going through a car wash.

All-Angle Visibility

The all-new Subaru Uncharted is designed to help drivers see more of what’s happening around them, especially in busy, real-world environments. A low, forward-set hood and carefully shaped pillars improve sightlines through intersections and tight streets, while a wide glass area keeps the cabin feeling open and predictable. Door-mounted mirrors are positioned to maximize rearward visibility and, when equipped, the available 360° Surround-View Camera adds an overhead perspective that makes parking and low-speed manoeuvres more precise and less stressful.

Rearview Camera

Standard equipment on every trim level, this rearview camera is designed to make low-speed manoeuvres more predictable and less stressful. The camera image is displayed clearly on the central screen, giving the driver a confident view of what’s behind the vehicle when backing up. As the steering wheel turns, on-screen guidance lines shift accordingly, helping you judge distance and trajectory when navigating tight parking spots, narrow lanes or busy urban spaces.

Panoramic View Monitor

Available on the GT trim level, this advanced camera system helps simplify tight, low-speed manoeuvres. Multiple exterior cameras merge into a single composite view on the centre display, giving a clear sense of vehicle position when space is limited. Especially useful in garages and crowded lots, the system works alongside Front Cross Traffic Alert and Parking Support Braking to add confidence and control.

EyeSight® Driver Assistance Technology

Every version features an advanced EyeSight® Driver Assist system designed to support confident, attentive driving in everyday conditions. Using camera-based sensors and integrated control software, the system continuously monitors traffic flow, lane position and potential hazards ahead. Depending on the situation, EyeSight® can assist with braking, throttle control and gentle steering inputs to help manage speed, maintain lane position and reduce risk. It’s a coordinated approach that adds awareness and reduces workload without ever replacing the driver.

Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross Traffic Alert

All models include radar-based monitoring that helps track vehicles approaching from outside the driver’s direct line of sight. Visual alerts in the side mirrors provide timely awareness during lane changes, while rear cross-traffic warnings activate when backing out of parking spaces or driveways. Together, these systems help reduce surprises in busy environments and support more confident, informed manoeuvring.

Safe Exit Assist (SEA)

Safe Exit Assist is designed to help protect occupants after the vehicle comes to a stop. Using rear radar monitoring, the system can identify vehicles or cyclists approaching from behind and alert occupants before a door is opened. Visual and audible warnings help reduce the risk of opening into traffic, adding reassurance in busy urban environments and crowded streets, right up to the moment you step out.

Parking Support Braking

Parking Support Braking (PKSB) helps reduce the stress of low-speed reversing. Using ultrasonic sensors, the system monitors the area around the vehicle and alerts the driver as obstacles get closer. If warnings go unanswered, braking assistance can be applied automatically to help prevent contact or lessen severity. It’s an added layer of control in tight spaces, designed to support confident manoeuvring when visibility is limited.

LED Headlights with High Beam Assist

These standard LED headlights are designed to provide clear, consistent illumination in changing conditions. Bright, white light improves visibility on dark roads, while High-Beam Assist (HBA) automatically adjusts beam output to avoid blinding oncoming traffic. Integrated headlight washers help keep lenses clear of dirt, slush and road spray, supporting dependable lighting performance when Canadian weather is at its worst.

Braking System

The braking system is designed to deliver consistent, predictable control in everyday driving and sudden situations alike. Electronic Brake-Force Distribution adapts to vehicle load for balanced stopping, while Brake Assist amplifies braking input when faster response is needed. Brake Override manages motor torque if both pedals are in use and Auto Vehicle Hold secures the vehicle on slopes or at stops, helping every stop feel smooth, stable and controlled.

Vehicle Stability Control (VSC)

Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) operates continuously to help keep the vehicle composed in changing conditions. By monitoring steering input, wheel speed and lateral movement, the system can adjust motor output, braking force and torque distribution in real time. Integrated Active Cornering Assist applies targeted braking during cornering, helping improve turn-in response and maintain stable, predictable control on slippery or uneven surfaces.

Protection engineered into every layer

The e-Subaru Global Platform provides a rigid, purpose-built foundation for the Uncharted, integrating structural strength with intelligent energy management. High-tensile steel, reinforced crossmembers and carefully engineered load paths work together to support occupant protection while shielding critical electric components. Battery placement and structural geometry are optimized as part of the platform itself, creating a stable, durable base that supports long-term safety, composure and confidence in everyday driving.

Advanced Ring-shaped Reinforcement Frame

The proprietary Subaru Ring-shaped Reinforcement Frame forms a continuous high-strength steel structure around the passenger compartment. This design distributes loads through multiple engineered paths to maintain structural stability. Reinforced underfloor panels and counterforce supports extend protection beneath the vehicle, helping safeguard the battery system and supporting overall body rigidity as part of a cohesive, platform-level safety strategy.

Airbags

A comprehensive airbag system is integrated throughout the cabin to support occupant protection from multiple directions. Dual-stage front airbags are paired with seat-mounted side airbags and full-length side-curtain airbags equipped with rollover sensors. Additional knee airbags for the driver and front passenger help manage lower-body movement, creating a coordinated restraint system designed to work seamlessly with seatbelts and seating geometry.

Injury-Reducing Seats and Seatbelt Systems

Seating and restraint systems are designed to support both comfort and occupant protection. Energy-absorbing seat frames and active head restraints help manage sudden rearward motion, while three-point seatbelts with pretensioners and load limiters regulate restraint forces. Rear outboard belts provide the same security, ISO FIX/LATCH anchors simplify child-seat installation and belt engagement indicators help confirm proper use throughout the cabin.
