On the Limited and Premier trim levels, rear-seat passengers have their own climate control vents.

The seats on the Subaru Outback are designed to provide increased support and more comfort over the long haul. The standard driver’s seat is 10-way power-adjustable and includes power lumbar support. The Limited and Premier trim levels gain a cushion seat length adjustment and two-position memory function for the driver, as well as an 8-way power-adjustable seat for the front passenger. For rear-seat passengers, heated outboard seats are available on the Limited trim level and higher. Front-seat passengers benefit from standard heated seats and, exclusive to the Premier trim level, heated and ventilated seats.

Although the 2021 Subaru Outback is undeniably rugged to the core, it’s also supremely comfortable. The design of the passenger cabin offers great visibility, plenty of space for five passengers and their gear along with plenty of standard convenience features. The list of available amenities includes a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel and gear selector (on the Touring trim level and up), a wireless phone charger, soft-touch materials and silver accents (for the Limited and Premier trim levels). On the even more adventurous Outdoor XT, the interior features a wireless phone charger, all-weather rubber floor mats and all-weather soft-touch upholstery.

Greater Cargo Space

In using the Subaru Global Platform, the 2021 Outback gained countess benefits over previous generations, including increased cargo capacity. All trim levels come standard with 60/40-split flat-folding rear seats; when folded down, the cargo volume soars from 920 litres to 2,144 litres. The cargo area itself is flatter than before for increased versatility when loading a wide variety of items. On the Touring, Outdoor, Limited and Premier trim levels, the hands-free power liftgate feature allows for even easier access.
