Golf Fore the Cure

Just as we are passionate about keeping Subaru drivers safe, so too are we passionate about the well being of all Canadians! This is why we are committed to promoting healthy, active lifestyles — and why Subaru Canada has been a presenting sponsor of Golf Fore the Cure since 2005.

The program was created by Golf Canada, in partnership with the Canadian Cancer Society and the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation, to drive participation of women in the game of golf with fun, non-intimidating activities. Golf Fore the Cure encourages women to enjoy golf while raising money and awareness for a cause close to Canadian hearts – finding a cure for breast cancer.

Achievements to date:

  • Approximately 180 events from coast-to-coast (per year)
  • Close to 12,000 Canadian women participate per year
  • Over $6.8 million raised to date for breast cancer research and support programs
